Bishop Park on Camping & Retreat Ministries

Before I came to New York, I was involved in promoting camp ministries and upgrading camp facilities. I heard again and again from so many people that out of the camp experience their lives were deeply touched, transformed and changed. It's where our mission is most physical, most tangible. I gave my commitment to camp ministries knowing that God is using this ministry in a very powerful way to reach out to people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

A Message from the Capital Campaign Chair

Epworth, Kingswood and Quinipet together represent one of our largest investments as a Conference, in property and in people! Through them our Camping and Retreat Ministries reach thousands of people a year from more than a hundred of our churches, offering children and adults a chance to experience Christ in community through living together over a week or a weekend. The three properties are unique and wonderful sanctuaries that we could never replace. This capital campaign gives us an opportunity, as stewards of the earth, and stewards of the precious resources of our Annual Conference, to renew our sacred common ground together.
